Výstava - Čachtice na starých fotografiách
V priestoroch Draškovičovho kaštieľa v Čachticiach si môžete pozrieť novú výstavu s názvom „Čachtice na starých fotografiách“. Na reprodukciách historických filmových negatívov zachytáva obec a dominanty ktoré k Čachticiam neoddeliteľne patria, ako napríklad kúrie a kaštiele, opevnený kostol, dnes už zaniknutú židovskú synagógu, vinohradnícke domčeky a mnohé ďalšie. Nájdete tu aj pohľad na Čachtický hrad, zachytený objektívom Márie Holoubkovej na sklenenej fotografickej platni. Jedná sa o starší typ negatívu, ktorý sa používal od polovice 19. storočia. Sklenené fotografické platne sa vyznačovali vysokou stabilitou a ostrosťou záznamu, no boli krehké a menej praktické.
Výstava ilustruje vývoj fotografickej techniky a zároveň sprostredkúva pohľad do vizuálnej pamäti minulosti, zachovanej v zbierkach Trenčianskeho múzea. Všetky reprodukované negatívy a sklenené fotografické platne pochádzajú z rozsiahleho fondu Trenčianskeho múzea.
Thanks to the project Revitalization of the Manor House of Draškovič in Čachtice, this cultural monument will undergo a comprehensive reconstruction. "The manor house will serve as a centre of cultural and community life, as well as a place for recreation. Visitors will also be able to make use of services of the new information office," said the historian Martin Vincurský. The renovation will be carried out with the support of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget of the Slovak Republic. "The Self-Governing Region of Trenčín has been monitoring these grant schemes for a long time and has been looking for possibilities of using them. Therefore, I am pleased that the Self-Governing Region was successful in this case for the first time ever as an applicant," said Jaroslav Baška, the President of the Self-Governing Region of Trenčín. He also added that the project is in the process of public procurement for construction works.
