Sobota sa v Draškovičovom kaštieli niesla v znamení rómskej kultúry

Saturday at the Draškovič Manor House was dedicated to Roma culture

The event began with a lecture by our ethnologist and museum educator, Mgr. Filip Obertáš, on the ethnogenesis of the Roma people and the history of Roma in Slovakia. The wonderful Roma band Romano Jilo from Banská Bystrica delighted the audience with their singing and dancing, and to conclude the event, the talented young student Deniska Baranovičová recited Roma poetry about tolerance and understanding.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended!

Nais Tuke, Romano Jilo!
