A talking portrait of Elizabeth Báthory, a secret door in the library or armchairs of the nobility that tell the stories of famous families… All of this and much more now awaits you among the new exhibits in Čachtice.

The Draškovič Manor in Čachtice is a museum of history that brings a modern, attractive, and interactive approach to engaging visitors with the past. In its brand-new exhibition, you will find displays about the life of Elizabeth Báthory, torture practices, history of winemaking, and the stories of the Habans and Roma people. By means of modern technology you’ll join the Tatrín Society alongside Štúr and Hurban, explore a bedroom of the nobility, a music salon, and a library, while children enjoy playful moments in the children’s room with toys with which young aristocrats played. And that’s just the taster... Come and see and hear it for yourself.

Learning, fun, and a pleasant time await you every Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Draškovič Manor starting May 1, 2024.
