The grant contract for the revitalization of the Manor House of Draškovič signed
The late Renaissance Manor House in Čachtice, which is one of the branches of the Museum of Trenčín, is awaiting a comprehensive restoration. The Self-Governing Region received a grant of 800 000 € and more than 1.3 million € will be from the budget of the Self-Governing Region.
The project of the revitalization of the Manor House of Draškovič in Čachtice will be implemented within the programme "Cultural entrepreneurship, cultural heritage and cultural cooperation" and co-financed from the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget of the Slovak Republic. The Programme Operator is the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, with which a grant contract was concluded. In order to achieve a common goal of restoring the manor house, the Self-Governing Region of Trenčín and the Museum of Trenčín signed a partnership agreement. After the end of the project, the national cultural monument will receive not only a new coat of paint but also a new content and mission by extending the expositions and creating a tourist information centre or a cultural and creative centre in its reconstructed premises. The launching conference of the project will be held online on Monday, May 10, 2021.
