The event \u201c This \u010cachtice Wine of Ours\u201d began with a lecture by our museum educator and ethnologist, Mgr. Filip Obert\u00e1\u0161, who shared the history of viticulture in Slovakia from ancient times to the 20th century, with a special focus on wine from \u010cachtice, a favorite of Empress Maria Theresa. He also touched on topics such as alcoholism among the highest Hungarian nobility and the phenomenon of wine as an aphrodisiac.<\/p>

The current viticulture in \u010cachtice was presented by sommelier Ing. Miroslav Bitarovsk\u00fd of \u010cachtick\u00e9 chot\u00e1re. Visitors had the opportunity to taste top-quality wines from \u010cachtick\u00e9 chot\u00e1re, including Bathory\u2019s Blood, Bathory\u2019s Secret, Elixir of Youth, and Black Elisabeth.<\/p>

A big thank you to everyone who attended\u2014you were wonderful! A special thanks goes to \u010cachtick\u00e9 Chot\u00e1re for their excellent collaboration.<\/p>
