Construction work on the reconstruction of the Renaissance-era cultural has been underway since May 2022 and is slated for completion on April 10. Tren\u010d\u00edn Self-Governing Region also plans to use the manor\u2019s official premises in the future.<\/span><\/em><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following the Tren\u010d\u00edn Castle, the newly renovated Dra\u0161kovi\u010d Manor House is set to become the flagship cultural landmark operated by the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn. The Renaissance manor house in the town of the infamous Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory had been previously restored in 1960s but the exhibition spaces and restaurant established at that time were falling into disrepair.\n\n\"We decided on a general reconstruction. Only the structure and the roof are original. After the completion of the works, the basement and ground floor will be added to the initially accessible spaces,\" said Peter Martinisko, director of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn. Simultaneously with the finishing works, the installation of individual exhibitions and outfitting of the tourist information center will also take place. Offers for renting out the caf\u00e9 located on the 1st floor will be received until March 21. \u201cWe will dedicate our attention to the Jewish community that disappeared from here during the Second World War, to the Roma and the Habans. A creative center will be established here and on the first floor there will be several rooms set up showing aristocratic housing,\" added Martinisko.\n\nTren\u010d\u00edn Self-Governing Region received funds from the EEA and Norway Grants that exceeded 2.6 million euros. \"It's a joint project and I want to thank everyone involved for the hundreds of hours they put into it. In addition to supporting the culture-creative industry, it will also be an important element of the town that will increase the number of visitors to \u010cachtice throughout the year.
