The late Renaissance monument in \u010cachtice will also be revitalised thanks to the European Economic Area (EEA) financial resources. By connecting different types of activities, the manor house will acquire not only a new coat of paint but also a new content and mission.<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The national cultural monument - the Manor House of Dra\u0161kovi\u010d, a branch of the Museum of Tren\u010d\u00edn, currently serves as a museum.<\/strong> The expositions are devoted not only to the history of \u010cachtice but also to the Tatr\u00edn association or to the infamous Countess Elizabeth B\u00e1thory. The Self-Governing Region received an 800 000 \u20ac grant from the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 <\/strong>to restore the manor house. More than 495 000 \u20ac,<\/strong> with the Self-Governing Region as a recipient, will be used for the comprehensive restoration of the manor house,<\/strong> improving its access and attractiveness. The remaining almost 305 000 \u20ac <\/strong> are intended for the Museum of Tren\u010d\u00edn, which will extend the expositions <\/strong> in the manor house and add elements for the visually impaired and blind. There will also be a tourist information centre, a caf\u00e9, a cultural and creative centre<\/strong> and various museum-pedagogical activities. \"These days, we are finalizing documents necessary for the conclusion of the grant contract. As this is indeed a challenging restoration of a significant cultural heritage, the Self-Governing Region will also contribute more than<\/strong> 1.38 million \u20ac from its budget<\/strong>.
