The Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn was part of the programme of the Festival of Jewish Culture in Nov\u00e9 Mesto nad V\u00e1hom, which took place from 15 June to 18 June 2023.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The official part of the festival programme included two lectures by historian Mgr. Martin Vincursk\u00fd from the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn, a partner of the project. The first lecture \u201eFrom speeches to pogroms \u2013 anti-Jewish conspiracy theories from the Middle Ages to the present day\u201c was given at 8 o'clock at the M. R. \u0160tef\u00e1nik Gymnasium in Nov\u00e9 Mesto nad V\u00e1hom for the pupils of the school as well as for people from the ranks of the public.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The second lecture entitled \u201eThe Arrival and Presence of Jews in the Pova\u017eie Region in the Middle Ages\u201c was an accompanying programme to the opening of an exhibition of postage stamps from the private collection of the Israeli collector Yochanan Schwarz. The lecture, as well as the opening and the exhibition, took place in the Podjavorinsk\u00e9 Museum in Nov\u00e9 Mesto nad V\u00e1hom, which is a branch of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn, a partner of the project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
