The project \u201eRevitalization of the Dra\u0161kovi\u010d Manor House in \u010cachtice\u201c is progressing successfully and its reopening ceremony is expected next year.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Chairman of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Self-Governing Region Jaroslav Ba\u0161ka was convinced of this at the inspection day, which took place at the construction site on 30 May 2023 in the presence of employees of the Office of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Self-Governing Region, the director of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn Peter Martinisko, representatives of the municipality of \u010cachtice and representatives of the contractor of the construction.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The reconstruction has so far included a complete reconstruction of floors, plastering, utility distribution, the hardening of the building and complete replacement of windows, in the basement areas a new floor heating was installed, and a chemical grouting screen against moisture was carried out in the perimeter walls. Construction work will continue in the next months. The reopening of the manor house is planned for the first half of 2024.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the reconstructed Dra\u0161kovi\u010d Manor House, new modern expositions, a tourist-information centre, a cultural-creative centre, and a stylish caf\u00e9 will be installed. \u201eWithin the expositions we will focus on Elizabeth B\u00e1thory, the winery in \u010cachtice, the Tatr\u00edn association or period housing in manor houses. We want to use part of the premises for museum pedagogy, lectures, weddings or social events,\u201c added Peter Martinisko, the director of the Tren\u010d\u00edn Museum in Tren\u010d\u00edn.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0\u201eThe preparation of the project took several years. I am glad that we managed to succeed and part of the reconstruction of the manor house can be financed from the EEA Financial Mechanism. The renovation, including new exhibitions and the establishment of a caf\u00e9, will cost approximately EUR 2.8 million. Of this amount, EUR 800 000 is a contribution from the EEA grant,\u201c Jaroslav Ba\u0161ka explains the costs and financing of this project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The mayor of \u010cachtice Erika Ondrejkov\u00e1 said: \u201eit will be a wonderful link between \u010cachtice Castle and the museum, and I believe that tourists will enjoy and find satisfaction in our village.\u201c<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Part of the reconstruction will also include the garden adjustment, which will provide new opportunities for cultural enjoyment and will complement the overall appearance of this precious national cultural monument.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
