objective of this project is revitalization and restoration of a Cultural Monument - the Manor House of Dra\u0161kovi\u010d, which is situated in \u010cachtice village. It is a historical building, dating back to the 17th century based on an architectural and historical research.<\/p><p>The project <strong>\"Revitalization of the Manor House of Dra\u0161kovi\u010d in \u010cachtice<\/strong>\" was successful in the first call for proposals within the programme \"Cultural entrepreneurship, cultural heritage and cultural cooperation\". It is co-financed from the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget of the Slovak Republic as one of 19 projects out of 66 submitted project applications in total. The project applicant, <strong>The Self-Governing Region of Tren\u010d\u00edn<\/strong> is the manor house\u2019s owner, and the project partner, <strong>the Museum of Tren\u010d\u00edn, <\/strong>is the administrator of the manor house.<\/p><p>The aim of the project is a comprehensive restoration of the Manor House of Dra\u0161kovi\u010d, with the purpose of inserting new functions into the building situated in a place with a significant year-on-year increase in the number of visitors (especially thanks to the \u010cachtice castle nearby). The project is needed in terms of preserving and maintaining the manor house in order to prevent its greater damage and deterioration, as well as to preserve current exhibitions of the museum.<\/p><p>The manor house will serve not only as a place of presentation of history (museum) but also as a place of providing services at the level of the 21st century. In the newly reconstructed premises of the manor house, visitors will be given the opportunity to relax and refresh in the newly established caf\u00e9 and be able to use the services of the tourist - information centre. The conditions for creating new expositions will be created and extended and a cultural and creative centre will be established. It is supposed to be used for various cultural events, weddings etc. Cafeteria\nrental will generate revenue and thus contribute to the programme's objective defined as\nSocial and economic development strengthened through cultural cooperation, cultural\nentrepreneurship and cultural heritage management.<\/dd>\n        <dt> <a href=\"#\">New expositions<\/a><\/dt>\n      <dd>A museum is not just a space where visitors come to see things or objects, it is a space where they really fix the past. The reconstructed premises will enable more efficient use of the manor house's capacity for museum purposes. New expositions will be set up in the newly reconstructed space, which will complement the permanent inventory of the museum and will be distributed throughout the manor house, including the basement. The expositions will be complemented by elements for purblind and blind people.<\/dd>\n        <dt> <a href=\"#\">Museum-pedagogical activities<\/a><\/dt>\n      <dd>The number of museum\u2019s visitors is planned to be increased through the provision of experiential educational programs (through museum-educational activities). Experience learning is unique in that it provides visitors with new knowledge, skills and values through their emotional experience and their own lives.<\/dd>\n        <dt> <a href=\"#\">The cultural and creative centre<\/a><\/dt>\n      <dd>The cultural and creative centre will be multifunctional. The donors have\nprovided \u20ac3.3 billion through consecutive grant\nschemes between 1994 and 2014. The EEA Grants are jointly financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, whose contributions are based on their GDP.
