They tapped the foundation stone with a virtual conference on the revitalization of the Manor House of Draškovič in Čachtice
The restoration of the national cultural monument was subject of a launching conference, which starts a project supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget of the Slovak Republic within the programme "Cultural entrepreneurship, cultural heritage and cultural cooperation".

"The revitalization of this manor house will not only help preserve the historical values of the building, but will also increase the number of visitors to this part of our region. The Self-Governing Region co-finances the project in the amount of 1.7 mil. € from its own budget, " said the President of the Self-Governing Region of Trenčín, Jaroslav Baška, with regard to 1 of 19 projects out of the total number of 66 submitted, which were successful in the announced call. "Currently, a construction contractor is being procured, the deadlines for submitting bids are until 19 May. If everything goes well, including the public procurement and subsequent inspection, we would like to start construction works over the summer, perhaps in August this year, " added the President of the Self-Governing Region of Trenčín.
